Salt Bloom embodies the exquisite process of salt marking sea rock over time. Though there is mystery as the efflorescence is drawn from an evaporating sea, there is also poignancy from what remains. The earth is passionately creating for us—who are we if not instruments for creation?

Salt Bloom aims to create a blooming environment in the foundations of the literary community. We seek writing that is unafraid to embrace the ugly and aim for beauty as it crystallizes on the page.
